I think the best idea is “to keep savings from the automatic cuts in place.” However, I believe that their spending bill should be capped at $950 billion, and that is not low enough. The military budget is way to high. Lay off the non military personal, if they want to serve the US military, then they can sign up, just like a real solder. If our Federal Government isn’t competent enough to run the military without contractors, then they are just incompetent. We need to reform the health care industry, remove the middle men and provide care to all citizens, all people, not just the delusional people who think they are more special than anybody else. “Pushing the government too a debt default would likely cause turmoil in financial markets.” Sounds like a good way for this inevitable situation to occur. Lets just do it, NOW. There is no good time and the longer it takes, the longer it takes. Who the f cares what the S and P says, this is a delusional world of opinion. America is what we make it.
