There aren’t many strong arguments to oppose the use of camera’s with and the ones are mostly on reliability. The one thing that real mirrors do have going for them is that they almost never stop working for any reason. Having a side mirror break is rare unless it gets ripped off in an accident but a camera is much easier to mess up. All it would take is some mud getting slung over it and bam worthless until its wiped off. Any technology failures in the camera or the display could also be disastrous. Even still cameras are probably the future.
